Geekettes London and Twitter are organising an exclusive Functional Programming workshop for female programmers. Hosted by the engineering teams at Twitter London, this is a unique opportunity to get an introduction to functional programming.
Â
During the workshop we are going to explore the fundamentals of functional programming, and even build an HTTP service in Scala using the concepts learned on the day.
Â
Twitter are renowned for using Scala, so this workshop offers you the opportunity to learn from some of the very best! Don't miss out, places are limited!
Â
While we ask that attendees are familiar with programming concepts, don't let that discourage you; this workshop is definitely open to new graduates or final year students in related fields!
Â
* You will need to bring your own laptop (and charger!) for this event. We'll help with the setup!
